FAQ’s
You’ve got questions?
No problem! We have the answers.
How often and how long are the sessions?
Typically, speech and language sessions last from 45 minutes to one hour. The therapy schedule will depend on your child’s specific needs and your family’s schedule. Some children are seen once a week. Others are seen twice a week or once a month.
Where do sessions take place?
Play & Talk offers therapy that comes to your home. Our therapists can also travel to your child’s school or daycare for a treatment session. Often, this helps the child carry over new skills to other environments.
How long will my child need speech therapy?
This depends on your child. Our team will work with you to determine the best and most realistic plan of care for your family to meet your goals.
Do you accept insurance?
We are an out-of-network provider. If you would like to request reimbursement from your health insurance company, we are happy to work with you to provide the necessary documentation upon request. We can also help you figure out your insurance benefits to see if speech therapy is covered out-of-network under your healthcare plan.
What do services cost?
Fees will vary based on the service provided, whether treatment, evaluation, or other consultative services. Please note evaluations include standardized/non-standardized testing depending on client need, clinical measures, scoring interpretations, report writing, diagnoses, and consultation with family and provider.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Currently, we accept cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, and PayPal.
